If we didn’t give ourselves to God
If we didn’t let Him change our ways
We’d be left in our trespasses and sins
So be not afraid to change

If we only cared about our needs
If we didn’t consider our brother
We’d be serving ourselves and not our God
So be not afraid to change

If we speak against our leaders
If we don’t support, or pray for their strength
We’re not helping to build up the kingdom
So be not afraid to change

If we follow our minds instead of the Word
If our words don’t minister grace
We’ve got it twisted somewhere
So be not afraid to change

If you want to be in the kingdom
If you want to be a blessing on the way
Do not try to change yourself
It is God that will do the work
So put yourself in His capable hands
Hand Him the reigns
Let Him steer you in the way you must go
