Our first lesson is on baptism in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us that there is no other name given among men whereby we can be saved (Acts 4:1-12). So the Church of God that keeps the commandments and has the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12, 17, 12, 14), believe in and teach and preach salvation – saving from sin. In other words, deliverance from the penalty of sin which is death (Romans 6:23).
